CDR, RPL or KA02 — which one do you need?
A CDR goes to Engineers Australia for engineering occupations. An RPL goes to the ACS for ICT occupations where your qualification does not meet the ICT requirement. A KA02 goes to Engineering New Zealand. If your degree is accredited or accord-recognised within the coverage period, you may need none of them.

Do I need a CDR if I studied in Australia?
Usually not. Graduates of an Engineers Australia accredited Australian programme can be assessed on the qualification alone, without writing a CDR.
Do I need a CDR or an RPL?
It depends on your occupation, not your preference. Engineering occupations assessed by Engineers Australia use a CDR; ICT occupations assessed by the Australian Computer Society use an RPL where the qualification does not meet the ICT requirement. The two are not interchangeable.
What if I am not sure whether my degree is accord-recognised?
Accord coverage is date-bound and programme-specific — the institution being in a signatory country is not enough. Send us your degree certificate and award year and we will check it against the signatory coverage periods at no charge.
