What we are, and what we are not

CDR Engineers Australia is an independent professional writing and review service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of Engineers Australia, the Australian Computer Society, Engineering New Zealand, or the Australian Department of Home Affairs.

We do not provide migration advice and are not registered migration agents. Nothing on this site or in our correspondence is immigration advice. For immigration matters you should consult a migration agent registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA).

Your responsibilities

• The information, documents and project details you provide must be truthful and your own.
• You must review the final report and satisfy yourself that it accurately describes your own experience before submitting it.
• You are responsible for the submission itself and for meeting the assessing authority's current requirements.

We will not knowingly write content describing experience you did not have, or a role you did not perform. If we form the view that requested content would be inaccurate, we will decline to write it.

Our obligations

• To write reports that comply with the assessing authority's published format requirements as at the date of delivery.
• To base every report on your own qualifications and employment history.
• To provide the revisions described in the service you purchased.
• To keep your project material confidential.

No guarantee of outcome

Assessing authorities assess your qualifications and experience against their own standards. We cannot and do not guarantee a positive outcome. Any success rate we publish is a description of past results, not a promise of your result.

Payment

Prices are in Australian dollars. Work begins on receipt of the agreed deposit or full payment. Instalment arrangements, where offered, are agreed in writing before work begins.

Intellectual property

On full payment, ownership of the delivered report passes to you. We retain no right to publish or reuse it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with our services is limited to the fees you paid for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
